Appearance:
Yubon stands at roughly 5'10" and 155 lbs. Lean and muscular, he has the appearance of someone who exercises and lifts weights regularly. His hair is a dark green and of medium length, going down to his ears. Yubon has a light skin complexion, but is slightly tanned around his shoulders and cheeks. His attire changes day by day, but he favors darker colors; his favorite of which is black. His ninja equipment include the standard kuni, shuriken, explosive tags, wire, smoke bombs, flash bombs, scrolls, and various other things that fit in his pouch. He also carries around 2 wooden kali sticks that interlock and extend to become an 8 ft. staff.

History:
Born to a Jounin couple in the Sunagakure Anbu; Yubon's parents were surprisingly loving and affectionate; despite the apathetic attitude required to be in the Anbu forces. Shortly after his birth, Yubon's mother left the Anbu and became a stay-at-home mother. His father would continue to provide for the family; though their income had cut in half. Times weren't the easiest for the new parents. They had barely been married for a year when Yubon was born. The new couple embraced parenting with open arms and fought though all of their trials and tribulations together. It would seem nothing would keep the couple down; that was until Yubon's father was killed on a mission five years later.

His father's family supported them the best way they knew how; though, nothing could bring back his father. Things are seen very differently through the eyes of a five year old. Being so young, Yubon barely had any memories of his father. One thing he would never forget; however, was his father's smile and laughter. After his father's death, Yubon became depressed and started to retract from the social world. Keeping to himself, he would attend the academy to become a ninja; like his parents. Yubon's abilities were average at best. Though the potential he had was great, his depression would hinder his effort. It seemed Yubon would make for an average shinobi; that was until he met someone who would change his life.

Late in his education at the academy, he would make a friend. Her name was Sora. One day; while Yubon was training alone, he heard a girl crying. He tried to ignore it, when she started whining in pain. Yubon's curiosity; and uncontrollable moral compass, got the better of him and so he went to check out what the issue was. As Yubon got closer to the sound of the girl's voice; he could hear other people laughing. Hopping from tree to tree, he stopped and peered down where the girl was. She had been surrounded by three boys who appeared to be a little older; maybe genin. At first he just watched the situation and waited to see what was really going on. That was until he saw the start to gang up on her and beat her. Yubon then leaped down from the tree and landed right behind the group of genin. Turning, they told him to mind his own business and to leave before he was next. Yubon; being as stubborn as his mother, acted before giving them any time to react. Yubon quickly punched two of them in the throat; then blocked and counted an attack from the last genin. Yubon quickly blocked the kick the genin had thrown and counted with a kick of his own... straight to the boy's growing. A crotch shot was all it took. Yubon and Sora then left quickly and headed back to the center of the village and from then on they have been friends.

After meeting Sora, Yubon's personality changed. His performance in the academy improved drastically and he became the star pupil nearly over night. Something that still haunts him to this day is how his father died. An answer he will not give up on finding out.
