Team 2 Introductions

Shiko Nara, Sakyo Uzumaki, and Hiroshi Aokin have each received a notice that they will be in Konoha's Genin Squad 2. They are to report to training ground 3 at 9:30 am, where they will find out who their sensei is and who the other members of their team are.

Muiko, a talented jounin of the Senju clan, is present at the meeting spot several minutes before 9:30 and waiting for them.

OOC - Your team leader is an NPC named Muiko Senju. I'll leave the playing of her to you guys as you see fit, but please try to play her according to the NPC files. I will not be joining you for this RP, I'm just trying to nudge you all together. Once you have introduced yourselves, feel free to start a mission. You might also want to discuss the tournament!

Shiko wakes up early making sure he does not run late to the first meeting. He eats breakfast but nothing that would weigh him down. While he was running early he felt that showing up too early would reflect poorly upon him, "true shinobi are always busy" he thought to himself. So he wondered around the village before heading to training ground 3. Once he arrived he waited for his new teammates by the entrance, hoping he was the first one there. He wanted the three of them to show up unified.

He thought of who his teammates may be and if he had met either one before.

Man.. It's so early.. 8:30.. I'll just go back to sleep..

Hiroshi suddenly sits up in bed after what seemed like an awakening from inside his mind. He looks to his clock and it reads 9:21 and looks back out to his window. "I guess I should head out." Hiroshi jumps out of bed and casually gets ready. Hiroshi leaves his home at 9:30 on the dot. While walking through the peaceful streets of Konoha, Hiroshi thinks of his team he's about to meet with all sorts of assumptions.. "Maybe there will be a powerful Uchiha leading us, or um.. Yes! A mighty Uzumaki would make an excellent captain! Or.. Or.. A Senju! Going back to the roots of our village!"

Hiroshi continued to daydream and fascinate over clan configurations as walking along almost losing his way until he looks up to see the entrance of training ground 3 to see an excited Shiko Nara. Hiroshi knew Shiko, well he never KNEW him but he was acquainted and recalls him in the academy, they haven't spoke as much as they could of.

"Hey! Uh, Shiko?"

Sakyo ponders to himself looking outside of his apartment window at 6 a.m. "I wonder who my teammates will be?"

"I better get a head start." He mumbled as he munched a granola bar and sifted through his book for the day.

Sakyo arrives at training ground 3 and hops into a tree, patiently observing the area while waiting for his team to arrive. As times rolls close to 9:30 a.m. he can see Shiko, Hiroshi, and Muiko arrive.

"Ahhh yes...I remember these two."

Sakyo hops out of the tree to greet his team "Good morning" and bows before his sensei.

"yeah, and you are Hiroshi and Sakyo correct? Cutting it a little close aren't y'all? Ahh Sensei.

Shiko bows hoping his new sensei wont come down hard for their tardiness."Sensei we won't be late again."

Not wanting to disrespect his new sensei, Sakyo humbly bows his head and states, "Forgive me sensei."

"I'm just glad you're all finally here, I'm trusting you guys to not be late again. My name is Muiko Senju and I'll be the captain of all of us, Team 2. I was very excited to meet you all so why not share something about yourselves?"

Hiroshi thinks to himself for a second to think of something to impress the others, he's always been quiet in the academy and maybe now it'd be his time to shine.

"I'm Hiroshi Aokin, I like to sleep.. and uhhh, well that's not all I like" Hiroshi looks around and realizes he sounds like a total idiot. "And uh yeah I'm a proud member of the Aokin and hope to contribute to our squad to the best of my ability!" Hiroshi looks at Muiko sensei who gives him a smile then looks to the others.

"Well that is going to be hard to beat" grinning at Hiroshi to let him know its just a joke. "Lets think, uhm well I am apart of the Nara clan" Shiko looking around for something hoping something will come up to end this awkward silence.

"Mmm" Sakyo mumbles as he folds up his book and places it into his back pocket.

"My name is Sakyo Uzumaki, I'm not particulary interesting." He states monotonously

Grinning with his eyes closed Sakyo states "I look forward to working with you all."

Muiko looks at Sakyo peculiarly before going on about our purpose being here this morning.

"Well now that we're all introduced, why not have a free for all spar against each other? And hmm.. Winner doesn't have to pay for dinner after when I take you all for yakiniku?" Says Muiko looking at her three students excitedly.

Hiroshi looks to his left and right to both of his brand new teammates and gives them and assuring nod and cocky smile.

The three Genin all split up across the training ground forming a triangle with Muiko in the center.

Hiroshi raises his arm and yells to his comrades "Alright! I didn't bring my wallet anyway so there's no way I'm going to lose!" Hiroshi then takes a battle stance staring straight ahead.

Shiko looked at his teammates, they made him a little nervous. Shiko knew his jutsus were good as a team, or even one on one, but a free for all would make him rely more on his taijutsu. Also he knew what to expect from an Uzimaki some what, but an Aokin was really unknown to Shiko. The stories he heard could terrify others. He just saw Hiroshi as an obstacle, a big one. This was gonna be a hard fight with the possibilities of Sakyo's ninjutsu and Hiroshi's taijutsus, Shiko would have to wait for an upper hand if he was going to win. He felt that he was second in both ninjutsu and taijutsu between the three of them which made him in the middle of the pack, which was going to make this very intresting.

"Whelp, here goes nothing. Good luck, y'all will need it."
He let out a smirk, if he could make the others think he was stronger than he was that may give him the upper hand. Although in the back of his mind he was calculating if he had enough money to pay.

OOC - Sry but im assuming muiko is involved in this sparring match, sending this off from work so I don't slow down the progression otherwise I'd pm one of yall and ask.

Sakyo holds up his right hand in a halting motion and abruptly states "Wait...thinking logically there's no way we stand a chance against muiko-sensei without teaming up."

Remembering back to his academy days Sakyo states, "Now that we're a team we need to unify our efforts to take on our opponents if we want to achieve our goals."

Sakyo looks to his new team members for approval hoping that his diplomacy wins them over.

"Hmm maybe I'll join you... But who am I kidding I'll probably end up paying for the food myself anyway" Muiko says while comically sighing. " You guys spar amongst yourselves for now I want to see how you fend individually, I already have plenty of team oriented exercises planned" Muiko sits and leans back on a large boulder with her eyes peeled on her three students.

Hiroshi smirks and yells out "I like your thinking Sakyo! But to be honest I'd rather it this way, I want to show you both what I'm made of!"

Hiroshi thinks to himself "there's no way a one on one battle with Sakyo would be in my favor due to his incredible Uzumaki endurance, and Shika on the other hand is from the Nara meaning he's smart and probably has all this already figured out, ahhh! Alright calm, calm... I'll just do what I do, if I can make them engage each other first that'd be ideal."

Hiroshi awaits the okay from his team and sensei to begin

OOC: I'm not against the idea of a team battle but I just don't know what techniques Muiko would use and considering she's a npc it could get awkward with three of us controlling her

OOC- Yeah I agree. could work later, but this would be good practice for our tournament battles. On another note I wish I could rp being Nara smart. I got school in the morning so I will not be up much longer.

IC-Shiko used the extra time of the talking to take a look around taking account where shadows were and how big his shadow was and determining how far it could reach. He had all the Data he could use. Now for the fight.

"I am ready"
Shiko put his hands together ready to start hand signs.

Remembering the area he scanned earlier, Sakyo maps out his enviornment in his head and thinks to himself how careful he must be to not underestimate his new teammates. He analytically plots his next few moves as he forms the Seal of Confrontation and prepares for the match.

Sakyo announces piercingly, "Lets begin."

Well, I guess I will get things started.

Shiko pulled 2 kunai out and launched at them at his teamates, one for each. He was trying to get the stand still to end. He prepared for either or both of his teamates to react, and possibly launch a counter attack at him.

Sakyo pulls out his own kunai and deflects the one being thrown at him.

Smirking, he makes a dash for the nearby forestry.

Playfully he taunts his teammates, "I said let's begin."

OOC - feel free to make this thread last however long you would like. If you'd like to start a group mission you can, too. I'll work at getting some more posted later, or you can suggest something and I'll put it on the list if it's reasonable. Mission stuffs

Hiroshi punches his palm and looks up with a determined smile on his face.

He dodges the kunai by spinning to the side and makes a dash towards Shiko, he looks to where Sakyo ran off to "Tsk, what's he planning" Hiroshi prepares a Fuuton: Winged String to knock Shiko off his feet to initiate an opening.

Sakyo creates some distance between himself and the others just along the boundaries of the forest and training grounds. He finds a nice hiding position up in a tree and spies on them hoping that they will weaken each other before he enters the fray himself.

Shiko watches Sakyo run off Heh, Prolonging the inevitable."

Shiko throws another kunai at Hiroshi legs hoping to make him stop running at him. After shiko releases the kunai he sends his shadow forward between him and Hiroshi. It then raises from the ground, making it impossible to see through it and runs after sakyo. The curtain disappears just giving shiko a head start.

Hiroshi side dodges the kunai and again and launches his Winged String through the shadow only to find Shiko starting to run in the woods "What? Ah, damnit!" Hiroshi runs into the forest but from a different entry as the other two

Witnessing their departure Sakyo tracks their movement with sensing, and uses a tree branch as a medium for a basic clone, not before attaching an explosive tag onto it first though. He sends the clone to Hiroshi and hopes the taijutsu user will attack it

Hiroshi looks along the trees as he runs through the forest. Hiroshi sees something at the corner of his eye "Ah ha! Sakyo!" Hiroshi runs up to him with a kunai in hand, he sees that Sakyo hasn't turned around yet even though Hiroshi was very close "Heh, too easy and I thought you were good at sensory techniques" Hiroshi then points his kunai the back of Sakyo's neck "Sakyo, I wi-" The clone turns around and the explosive tag is detonated, a shocked Hiroshi braces himself and is sent flying back from the blast, he lands next to a tree and sits down for a second to gather himself

Sakyo heads in the direction of the explosion to find Hiroshi lying down.

"Hmm, don't fall asleep on us now Hiroshi-kun, I only hope that me and Shiko are worthy of combating a member from the renown Aokin clan."

As he is talking from the tree above Sakyo plants a scroll on the branch and begins preparing a second scroll.
