Zen Tankou vs. Iwa 6 [Finished]

Zen your NPC player will be myself. I will post first later tonight including details of you are fighting. You will then have 24 hours to respond. After seven posts each the fight will be determined by the judges.

Kakashi was a small boy who looked no older than six. He wore a small shirt and shorts without any shoes. On his head was his Iwa headband, holding up a tuff of brown hair. He eyed Zen for a few moments, and then raised his fists. He was waiting for Zen to make the first move.

A small, barefooted boy. Zen could almost put his hand over his opponent's head and simply jump over him. Yet despite the child-like appearance, Zen never forgot that this was a competitive match and he represented not only his clan, but also his village. With the leaders of the villages walking, he cannot afford to lose. He must always keep his guard up and take his opponent seriously. Especially when he did not know their abilities.

Although he could hit him with his fists with relative ease, it may be easier to use his legs. His specialty was in close-range combat, and so long as he could take it to a hand-to-hand fight, the fight will be his. Unbuckling his tan-colored ninja pouch, he took out four kunai all to be held by one hand. Zen rushed forward with a speed beyond what you'd expect from your average Genin, and threw the metallic blades at Kakashi's position.

Kakashi raised his hands together in a V shape, and fired a beam of light. The light was blinding and strong, incinerating the kunai that shot towards his position. He then slid one foot backward so his body was facing sideways. Kakashi then began to cartwheel towards Zen.

Kakashi countered his attack with a spectacular jutsu of sheer luminosity that Zen was forced to close and shield his eyes from any further sight. His vision was off-focus for a few seconds before he could open his eyes again, with a slight dazing pain in them.

"Agh....."

When his eyes came back into focus, he noticed that his kunai were on the ground, reduced to ash-like burnt shrapnel. The attack damaged them, but did not reach himself. Zen understood then that the boy had some technique that allowed him to generate powerful light.

An opportunity had opened up as Kakashi cartwheeled towards him. Forming four handseals in less than two seconds, he used earth chakra to turn the earth under Kakashi who was five meters away into sand right as Kakashi's hands were on the ground and his head facing it during his cartwheeling (legs in the air).

"Sand Shower"

It would have been difficult for him to change posture now that he was facing sideways. The sandy earth would have made him lose balance, and  it would all sprung upwards to blast Kakashi face-first before sprinkling his entire body with a three-meter tall geyser of sandy earth. To make matters worse, it would have also sent the burnt shrapnel flying into Kakashi's face and upper chest - his flesh would have been burnt by the very products that he created.

Distracted and blindsided by his technique, Zen would take advantage of the opening if successful to throw out three shurikens one by one at Kakashi.

Kakashi's cartwheel had begun gain more and more momentum until he was a blaze of spinning light, shooting right at Zen. The sand had caught him off guard, but the light that surrounded his body blocked a majority of the sand as well as the shrapnel. Landing on the ground a few feet away from Zen, Kakashi clapped his hands together and then pulled them apart, a sword made out of light now within his right hand.

Zen matched Kakashi's challenge to a blade duel by drawing out his own sword. A steel katana removed from the scabbard, Zen lunged forward to launch a thrust attack aimed right at his opponent's chest.

Kakashi reflected the attack upwards, spun around, and then attempted to deliver a side swipe at the back of Zen. Kakashi's footwork was phenomenal, and his light blade struck and felt like a real sword.

A strong parry not expected from a small boy, but Zen's reflexes kicked in to keep his advance going. His lunge produced one bent knee forward, so Zen pushed off that knee to send his own body above the ground while Kakashi had spun around. Simultaneously, he launched his other knee forward to smack it right against the boy's chin, barely getting past the reach of the light sword before it would have struck his back and now entering between Kakashi's arms. Zen's advantage was in close quarters, and the difference in their physical prowess would not be good for the boy.

Kakashi takes the brunt of the attack and backs up, his chin split open and slightly bleeding. He advances again with his light sword, except this time his entire body has turned a blinding golden color, emitting a very hot hue. "Toton State of Divinince!" Kakashi plunged forward, attempting to stab Zen.

His attack sent his opponent staggering backwards. Zen took the time to get ready for his next attack, but just then a bright armour of radiance emanated from Kakashi. It was only one of his light jutsus, and it made Zen squint his eyes before the powerful brightness. He backed up a few meters, raising his katana in front of him with the other hand against the edge of the blade facing himself to protect against Kakashi's thrust.

Unfortunately, Zen's katana only grazed the light sword, and did not stop its path. Completely open, the tip of Kakashi's light sword collided with Zen's body, penetrating......

or not.

Dimming the light a bit, it would be found that the light sword did not penetrate through Zen's body at all, and seemed to have been stuck in its track. Zen, himself, looked very different for his entire body was covered with a bright, silverish metallic luster. Indeed, he had coated his entire body in steel, showcasing the Tankou clan's proud kekkei genkai. His other hand which had touched the edge of the blade had been absorbing his katana. And the metal reflected all that blinding light against Kakashi, irritating his eyes. The metal absorption increased all of Zen's physical stats (strength, durability, speed) significantly.

"Heh..... so you made me use it, huh.."

Zen retaliated by brushing Kakashi's light sword aside and slamming a very powerful punch right in his face, which would knock someone of his physique out cold.

Spoiler:

The punch collided with Kakashi, and the metallic strike knocked him out totally. The young boy crumpled to the floor. The light faded from his body. A proctor quickly jumped in and separated Kakashi and Zen. Kakashi's body turned back to its normal state.
