Kekkai Genkai/Bloodtrait: Members who hail from the Raikubo Clan are able to use the advanced chakra nature known as Ranton (嵐遁, Storm Release), though it's not to be confused with the other version that fires energy beams by manipulating water and lightning releases. This actually allows the users to generate storms and manipulate them at will. By combining lighting, wind, and water releases together it allows them to manipulate the weather, create thunderstorms, or powerful hurricanes to destroy their enemies in the event that they're under attack.
Background: The Raikubo Clan is an older clan that has existed since the dawn of the Lightning Village. Prior to residing within Kumogakure no Sato, members of the Raikubo Clan originally use to inhabit the mountainous regions of Kaminari no Kuni, but after numerous persuasive arguments from the first Raikage they decided to relocate to the village where they've been residing there ever since. Since then members of the clan have come in various size and colors after years of inter-breeding with other clan members and such. Although there's one thing that remains consistent despite the variety of members. The clan members are firm believers and worshipers of the Japanese deity known as Raijin. Most members often pray to him at least once a day or have communal services where they gather together to pray and worship for at least an hour a day. This is because it's believed that one day the clan founder named Takumo Raikubo had a vision of a great evil encroaching upon his home and monastery to destroy it, and that a deity of some sort would grant him powers. This dream left the monk confused and unsure as he wasn't sure what to make of the contents.

However, as a month passed of nothing happening an unknown clan during the Warring State Period approached his monastery in search of blood. They massacred and left a trail of bodies in their wake from the small group of followers he had. This angered the monk despite having approached them peacefully, causing him to cry out in vengeance after being left alive once the clan saw them as pitiful weak-minded individuals. Suddenly a flash of lightning occurred and in a booming voice a figure from above clad in lightning stated that he'd provide him with his powers in exchange for a lifetime of servitude, and that his children, and children's children would carry the same abilities as long as they abide by the same rules. The monk agreed having been filled with vengeance and takes the offer before unleashing a fury unseen by any man before. He destroys all thirty-plus members in a barrage of lightning, wind, and water.

Following that, he begins spreading the wonders of the Lightning God as Raijin continued providing for him and his followers following the incident till they grew into what they are today, or so the legend says.
