Humanitarian Aid:

Konoha Jounin:"Your team will escort the medical ninja to the village of Ameyoko. He carries with him the remedies to cure the sick people of said village. You must ensure the safety of the Medic-nin. It is vital that he arrives safe and sound, with all of the remedies. He'll be waiting at the West gate, you are to meet him in 30. Prepare for departure, Dismissed."

Krysto was paying close attention to the instructions given by the jounin. The hokage had been busy on urgent matters, so she had delegated the mission breifing to the jounin. (Sorry if this is considered against the rules).

(We have 1 more spot open if anyone wants to join. We'll start off after the jounin informs the team what was said above.)

Kotetsu was standing next to krysto intently listening to the mission briefing. He knew that the success of it would determine the lives of innocent people, and he was determined to see the mission through at all costs. Although he didn't see the mission being to hard, since it was just a c rank. "Yes sir" Kotetsu replied to the jounin as they were dismissed to ready for the mission. Then he turned to Krysto, "It's good to see you again"

Ryuu had walked onto the other genin late. He had temporarily lost Kuro Oni. He walked into the two conversing but he was told he needed to be there for a mission. Ryuu at the time had on a white shirt with his chest showing and some baggy ninja pants with his sandals. He had 2 paper bombs and 3 kunai in his pouch along with 5 shurikien. On his back he had Kuro Oni. "Hello Kotetsu, nice to see you again." He looks at the other genin. "Nice to meet you, the name is Ryuu Hyuuga. I look forward to teaming with you guys in the mission." He holds his hand out to the other genin.

Krysto burrowed his brow when he saw their teammate. It was a boy he'd only seen once before. Krysot was already prepped for the mission, he always carried basic shinobi gear in his thigh pouch.

"Good to meet you Ryuu. If we're all ready, we should head to the gate. We should find out who we're going to be ecorting."

"It is good to see you as well Ryuu," he stated, remembering back to the last mission the had togeyher. Which they encountered moles and rodents. "We got placed together sooner than I expected," his mind then sparked a thought. The mission must be very important, if the village is sending us. In no way was Kotetsu being over confident when thinking that. Reason for his thinking that was, Krysto was a member of the bloodthirsty Kaguyan clan which specializes in close combat and bukijutsu. Ryuu which was apart of the legendary hyuuga clan, able to detect chakara, or people with his byakugan and was sufficient in close combat as well. Then there was him, a member of the inflamed Uchiha clan that were know for producing prodigious shinobo and the sharingan, which enhance perception.

Krysto's words snapped him out of his contemplation, as he replied. "Yes, I am ready, yet I have an uneasy feeling about the mission." As they began their journey towards the gate in order to meet the person they were designated to escort, Kotetsu hesitated to continue his thought. "Notice how they paired us all up. If I had to choose a perfect team for an escort detail then it would be a team made up of members from our respected clans, because between our clan's abilities, then the said team should have no problem securing the escort as well as eliminate any hostile threat,l." He then continued, "It seems like they put a lot more thought into this one than the average C-Rank mission."

Ryuu glances at the both of them. "Yeah this is a bit overkill for a rank C." He slips his hand back in his pocket after being rejected from the handshake. He continues to walk with the other genin. "This may be a long trip." He walks in a laid back nature examining the unknown genin. He secretly wants to use Kuro Oni to see what clan he is in but he decides to keep his mind off of that. He reaches his hands in his pocket and pulls out a rice cake and takes a big bite and stays quiet.

The three genin arrived at the gate, where a young Kunoichi awaited their arrival (pic related).

'H-hello, My name is Sonya Haruno. N-nice to meet you"

She gave them a warm smile as they gathered around her.

"Nice to meet you Sonya, I am Krysto. I'll ensure you make it to the Village safely."

He slid both hands into the pockets in his pants and smiled back.

As the group approached, Kotetsu seen the Kunoichi. She was dress in the traditional attire of a medical shinobi. He couldn't help but to laugh slightly to himself, and flash his signature mischievous smile, as Krysto introduced himself. "Hello, my name is Kotetsu Uchiha," he then bowed in respect, "and what my team mate means, is all three of us will being escorting you today." He then motioned towards Ryuu.

Ryuu examines her quickly before speaking."The name is Ryuu Hyuuga." He stops himself before he says more. He then begins to walk onto the trail slowly leaving the others behind. "So why do we need to protect you again?"

Sonya: "W-well my expertise is Medical Ninjutsu.. so i- i i'm not that great of a fighter.. i developed this antidote to combat the effects of the plague that's haunts the village of Ameyoko"

The young Kunoichi fiddled with her thumbs as she explained herself. She couldn't help but stare at the ground as she was very shy in nature.

"Well, now that Ryuu knows the importance of your safety, I'm sure he wouldn't mind walking alongside Sonya."

Krysto turned to face Kotetsu and Ryuu who stood besides him.

"With your byakugan you can get a glimpse of everything around us, it makes sense you'd be at the epicenter of it. I'll be the lead and Kotetsu can secure the back.

This was something he hadn't expected of himself, to tell others what to do. He felt wrong, as they all were of equal rank. He had spoken with a semi-authoritative voice and kept a serious look on his face.

Kotetsu preferred to keep this mission as simple as possible, so he just replied with a sly nod. "We better get moving, because illness isn't willing and courteous to wait for us to get fully acquainted, and nor will death." His voice rang out the importance of finishing this mission as quick as possible. He then waited for them to venture ahead so he could follow as delegated.

Ryuu thinks to himself for a second. "I think the formation should be like a line. Kotetsu up front, your strongest in far range. Then next to Sonya should be Krysto considering your from the Kaguya clan. You specialize in close hand to hand combat. Then i think i should be in the back considering i have some range and some hand to hand. Also I can see the back. But its just a thought." Ryuu sticks his hands in his pocket waiting patiently for Kotetsu and Krysto to reply.

"My proposal was so that i could be ahead and engage any threats. I do believe i posses the edge in combat and could handle just about anything that comes our way. If any of them were to get through me, they would step into the range of your palm strikes. With you being in the center, you can look the same distance all around. Should enemies arise behind us, Kotetsu's fairly skilled with his sword, not to mention his sharingan. In this formation, Kotetsu and I both rely on you to call out any threats. Now, We should get moving."

Krysto tightened the straps on his headband and turned. He went through the gates out into the open dirt road.

"I understand your concern and even proposal of formation," kotetsu said as his left hand lazily propped on top of the hilt of his wakizashi. "Yet, Krysto's idea seems more firm and to me, a higher probability of success." He to then left out of the gate. "Although I do have one minor change to the formation. Which is instead of me being in back, I should patrol and stay nearby, unseen in the woods. So in case we are ambushed, we would have our own element of surprise." Once stating his piece he fell back into his position, yet not so far that he couldn't hear if his team approved of his change to the tactics.

Ryuu shrugs in an uncaring way. He stands aside of the Medical-Nin. "Well I guess you two can figure out the suprise attack thing but i think we should get going right away."

"That's a good plan, just make sure you're guarding the back."

With that, the team begins their trek to the Village of Ameyoko. It would be a day before they arrived. The route was easy, a long stretch way covered in trees and only a short area after the forest where they would cut through an abandon village, where the plague had started. The village life was non existent, it was rarely visited due to the fear of contracting the virus.

Sonya walked quietly, she held onto the small bag she was carrying. She looked at the three genin that had been assigned to protect her.

~They must be strong.. The Hokage knows how important this remedy is.. she wouldn't assign genins who weren't strong.. i just know she wouldn't..~

Krysto led the way. He kept a focused mentality as he walked. His eyes scanned the woods to both sides to the best of their abilities.

~damn it.. i should of stuck with Ryuu's idea.. i could have been spending all day with the cute girl. Instead I'm up here all by my lonesome~

Upon agreement to his plan, he allowed his team mates to make it a little ways up the road. To where he then darted off to travel alongside and hide among the foliage. As he traveled alongside the team, Kotetsu was ready for anything. His muscles tensed and his hair stood on end, at the thought of how important this mission is. He didn't bother to speak anymore at the moment, for he was busy searching the surrounding area. Yet he could still communicate with the team, for he had an earpiece inserted into his left ear.

Ryuu doesnt pay much attention to the girl. He only seems to think about her jutsu's. After around 5 minutes of walking he makes his move. Byakugan! The veins around his eyes start to pop out as he continues walking. After around 10 minutes he calls out. "Straight ahead 3 men. 2 small 1 big one. The big one seems to specialize in taijutsu. His chakra is not evenly distributed."

OOC: So we all have communicators right? even though i forgot to include that on my posts.

"Copy that. I'll handle the big guy, Kotetsu, stay hidden and keep an eye on Sonya. Ryuu, handle the two smaller ones."

Could he have handled all 3? Certainly. But he wanted to let the others have a bit of fun as well. He rushed forward and saw the 3 assailants. He wasn't kidding about the big one, the bastard stood nearly 7 feet tall and was built like a freight train.

Krysto charged with a focused look, the two smaller thugs both swung their inside arms attempting to clothesline Krysto who easily dropped to his knees and slid under the arms. The bigger thug raised both arms up in the air.

"Get the others! the girl is who we need!"

Shouted the big thug as he attempted to slam his fists down on Krysto. The two smaller thugs rushed forward and were ready to engage Ryuu in battle. As Krysto slid, he placed his palms on the ground, he lifted his lower body and split his legs which caused the big thug's attack to be nullified due to his arms being kicked apart. Krysto shifted his weight to his left arm and spun around kicking the attacker directly in the face. Krysto stood up and entered his battle stance.

"Who sent you. If you cooperate i promise to spare you."

"You won't have to worry," was all he said. Kotetsu did plan to stay hidden and protect Sonya, yet he had no intentions of staying out of the fight. His focus now on the two charging for Ryuu and Sonya.

He closed his eyes briefly, inhaled and then exhaled to calm himself into a tranquil state, as his hands retrieved some tools from his pouch. In his left hand, were two kunai that he twirled on his fingers. While in his right, he held two more.

Spoiler:

In one swift motion, he launched the kunai from his right hand. Although he released them at different angles, so they seemed to be off target. In the same motion, his left hand slung around and did the same with the next two. Which in turn caused the second ones thrown to hit the first, and shifted their angle to aim at the enemy. The two kunai were aimed at both of them. One was headed towards the base of the neck of the shinobi on the right and the second was aimed to pierce the side of the thigh of the left shinobi. Even if they noticed the kunai and dodged, there was no way in knowing where they came from. Being that it looked like they came from two different locations other than where kotetsu was, and it could seem like there is more than one hiding.

"Dammit." Ryuu stood 5 feet away from Sonya as the 2 shinobi approached him. He scratched the back of his head as they began to approach with speed. Suddenly he saw one go down from kunai from the trees. "Good Job Kotetsu". Ryuu with his Byakugan unleashed just began to use his gentle fist at the one that came to him. The ninja swung his kunai at Ryuu's face quickly if it werent from his Byakugan he wouldve been cut easily. Luckily he saw it just in time. He hit the mans arms 3 times with such speed making him release the kunai. Ryuu quickly grabbed the kunai as he had the kunai at the man's throat as straight ahead of him. "If you move I'll kill you". Ryuu looked at Sonya as he saw the shinobi that he thought was taken down, the nin had a kunai at Sonya's throat just as Ryuu had a kunai at his partner's throat. "Shit...I wasnt paying close enough attention." Ryuu's mind races with ways to get out of the situation.

"If you move I will kill the girl"
"Don't you care about your own teammate?"
"He is irrelevant in this mission, his life is less important than this girl here."

~damn it! i should have disposed of them when i had the chance.. now the girl has been compromised..~

Krysto was socked in the face by the thug's giant fist. He had been distracted by the scene unfolding a few feet away from them. He stumbled back and wiped the blood streaming down his lip.

"Damn it. I'm too far away, We'll have to use Kotetsu"

Said Krysto as he pressed the little communicator in his right ear. He focused his attention on the thug before him, trusting in Kotetsu and Ryuu's ability.

"You are choosing to not cooperate. That is your doom."

"BAHAHA a puny brat like you? i've eaten animals bigger than you"

Krysto charged forward and swayed left under the thugs left straight. Krysto came over the thugs arm and delivered an elbow smashing a few teeth out. He followed it up with a left knee to the body, lifting the thug off the ground. Krysto raised both fists up in the air and slammed them down onto the thugs back, sending him crashing face first into the ground.

Kotetsu noticed that the medical kunoichi was being held hostage. Upon hearing Krysto's command, he was ready to pounce. His legs bent slightly as he channeled chakara into his legs and feet, for a boost.

Upon pushing off the tree branch, Kotetsu darted behind the hostile bandits. After reaching them, he was faced away from them momentarily. Kotetsu firmly gripped his wakizashi hilt with his right hand, as his left held the scabbard in place.

As soon as the bandits noticed him behind them, kotetsu spun around and in one motion slashed at all three of them. The two on the outside turned just in time, to receive a fatal slash on them. One was hit in the neck, the other was from under the right armpit up to the left shoulder. The third one was unable to turn, for he had the girl in his arms. So in turn, he received a cut, yet it was just a superficial wound. Not enough to kill him, yet enough for him to release Sonya.

Spoiler:

Ryuu saw Kotetsu come out with his Byakugan. As he saw the one holding Sonya hostage get cut he moved quickly. With great speed he threw the Kunai in his hand right at his throat. With that momentum he can around with a round house kick to the one infront of him. Upon knocking him down with the kick Ryuu jumped on his and unleashed many hits to the man's heart hoping that he will stop it with his Gentle Fist.

Krysto reached into his thigh pouch and retrieved some rope. The big thug had been knocked out when his head hit the hard ground. Krysto tightly tied the wrists of the thug behind his back then dragged him to a tree where he tied him down in a sitting position.

"That takes care of that."

He made his way to Ryuu, Kotetsu and Sonya. Sonya was trembling in fear holding her hands up to her mouth and she was doing her best to hold back a stream of tears. Ryuu was destroying one of the thug's chest by continuously striking it. Kotetsus stood behind both of them, doing something cool. The bandits laid lifeless on the ground from being slashed by Kotetsu's sword.

"You're safe now Sonya. Forgive me for letting them get past me, i was fairly certain they would not get remotely close to you.. but it seems i was wrong."
