Kotetsu was waiting at the southern gate of the village, awaiting to greet his fellow genin. He had a sly grin on his face as he waited, and had his left hand resting on the hilt of his katana. He couldn't help to wonder who he would be partnered with, alot of questions ran through his mind. Whether they would be a distance fighter or up close and personal. Male or female. Team friendly or a loner.

"I wonder where they are" kotetsu asked to himself becoming anxious but without hiding his mischievous grin. "From what I was told, this is a pretty important mission"

Krysto was running ontop of the Konoha roofs. For once there were no older ladies needing help, no lost little girls, or no old men needing assistance. He was doing all kinds of crazy flips as he jumped from rooftop to rooftop.

~the Southern gate is coming up, might as well jump down now"

He ran fast, and jumped off a fairly high building. He did number of front flips before landing crouched down on the ground. He stood up as if it were a hop. He walked to the southern gate and leaned his back on a wall.

He noticed an interesting figure, a teen wearing black samurai robes but couldn't tell if he was a ninja. He tried to look for a Konoha protector but didn't see one.

"Those are some slick robes. Does it ever get hot under them?"

Hiroshi was a little surprised when he received the invitation to partake in this mission from two Genin, Kotetsu and Krysto, that he didn't know very well asides from Krysto from the Kusa tournament.

Hiroshi made his way to the gate and seen the two talking to each other, Hiroshi knew how important this mission was and hoped this team would work well together. Hiroshi came very prepared with 2 ninja tools packs on each leg all with 2 kunai and 6 shuriken in each.

"Yo, you guys must be the Genin I'm working with today? I hope we can get this mission done effectively. I'm Hiroshi Aokin."

Kotetsu continued to hold his smile upon the arrival of the first person. "No not really" he answered, attempting to be as friendly as possible. He then started to question, "Do you know where our last.." When the third and final addition to their team arrived.

He couldn't help but to nod in agreement with Hiroshi, referring to efficiently finishing the mission. "I agree and my name is Kotetsu of the Uchiha clan" his right hand was held out to shake his new comrades hands in respect to them. "Anyways, I guess we should be off if you two are ready"

Krysto nods. He was ready. Finally a B-rank mission. One to really test his strength.

"We have to be very cautious. As the letter stated, there will not be a jounin accompanying us."

He walked out of the gate, and followed his teammates as they began the journey to the last known wehereabouts of the mad scientist.

The three have spent a good while looking throughout the forests heading west of Konoha when they come across an ominous house with a strange vibe around it that wasn't right.

"This place is creeping me out, it looks like bad things have happened here, I'd say according to the mission briefing this is the place that the scientist is, when we go in we should be careful."

Hiroshi looks at both Krysto and Kotetsu to make sure they're ready.

"Can your all seeing eye see anything insdie Kotetsu?"

The team stood at the edge of the treeline as they examined the house. Krysto knew full well that there would be conflict in this mission, but he wanted to save his strength for the scientist.

"We'll decide what our next move is after Kotetsu scopes out the house"

Ooc:you skipped me krysto lol

"Let me check.", he stated as he activated his Sharingan-Tomoe 2. With a quick scan Kotetsu noticed a pair of strange looking creatures lurking around the side of the house, and another one inside window of the house. Which made him somewhat flinch.

" Didn't we get reports on the professor experimenting on animals?" With little pause he continued. "Because from what I see their are three creatures up ahead but possibly more, and something seems off about them"

With another scan he seen something he didn't the first time, "And I can see a chakara inside, looks like its coming from the far side of the building. It could be our target especially with these beast about."

(Ha damn, my fault man. Ill wait till Hiroshi replies, and then post so the new lineup will be Kotetsu > Hiroshi > Me)

Hiroshi then takes the initiative to take the lead and in doing so takes a few steps ahead to see a terrible looking creature that seemed to be a bear with two snake heads emerging from each shoulder

"Oh my god... What is that thing, I've never seen anything like it. It can't be natural."

The creature seemed to be enraged by Hiroshi's presence and charges at him, Hiroshi throws two shuriken at it's lower body to slow it down, then waits for one of his teammates to finish it off.

Krysto draws two kunais. He sees the bear snake stammer due to the shuriken to its lower body. The snake heads hiss in anger but are quickly silenced by two kunais to the mouth. The kunai enters through the mouth cutting the tongue and coming out the back of the throat, unfortunately the explosive tags taped attached to each kunai get jammed in the throat and explode. Brain matter, blood, and pieces of the bear snake fly all around. The explosion is sure to catch attention, but the team is now ready to face anything that comes their way.

Kotetsu seen the quick acting of his team mates and already liked them, seeing that they could easily handle there selves and dispatch enemies. With his eyes still activated he darted forward towards the beast that was also outside.

Upon getting a better view of it, Kotetsu noticed that it was a lion with long sharp claws, five snakes for its tail, and its mane looks to be a metallic substance. Just the brief glance couldn't fully make an assumption of the beasts abilities or describe why its mane is such a fashion.

Right as he started to draw his katana, something crashed out of the window from the house and slashed at Kotetsu. It somewhat took him by surprise but was able to react just in time to use the scabbard to his katana to absorb some of the damage. Upon impact though the hit caused him to be pushed back a little ways, to where he could fully draw his sword and notice the other beasts form. Which resembled an alligator that could stand up right similar to a human, and steam/smoke spewed from his mouth and nostrils.

Spoiler:

Hiroshi was surprised at the creature but put his fear behind and attacked head on, the alligator was slow but surely powerful so Hiroshi did his best to avoid his attacks. Hiroshi engages the alligator in a taijutsu battle for a little bit and uses a Fuuton: Great Gust to knock it over to allow Hiroshi to pounce on it, stabbing it in the head with a kunai.

Great Gust:

Hiroshi turns his head and notices the lion heading for Kotetsu and Krysto.

"Watch out!"

"Watch out Kotetsu!!"

Krysto took a split second to move Kotetsu out of the way of the ramming beast. The beast clashed head on with Krysto who planted his feet firmly on the ground. He had a firm grip on its throat and held it in place. He spun around and kicked the lion beast on the ribs, with that the lion fell. The five snake heads rose up and sprung forth to bite Krysto.

"Dance of the Larch!!"

Before the snakes could bite down on Krysto's god like body, sharp blades emerged from his body. The snikes attempted to bite, but were stopped short when they caught the bone blades. The Five snake heads were stuck between the bone blades.

Krysto forgot about the lion, who stood up and slammed its body into krysto, knocking him into the brick wall of the house.

"Gahh.. Bastard"

Krysto fell to his knees at the mercy of the lion, it was up to his temmates to save him

Kotetsu was reluctant that his team mate was there to push him out of the way, yet he quickly found out that it was his turn to help him. Kotetsu launched forward and in one motion, unsheathed his katana Heavenly Arc, and slashed in an upward arc. Which sent out a crescent arc of lightning that landed between Krysto and the lion beast.

He did this to deter the beast from his comrade and draw its attention. Once the beast looked at Kotetsu, he was already almost on top of it. With a deathly glare he looked into the beasts eyes as he came down, and made its reaction time delayed as if it were scared.

Upon landing, Kotetsu came down with a vertical slash to the lions head, but the mane of the lion somehow deflected the attack. In a quick motion he spun in a clockwise motion and followed up with a diagnol strike on the back right behind the mane. The cut was clean and lethal as it puncture a lung and after a few brief seconds, the beast collapsed in defeat from blood loss and suffocation.

"Thanks Kotetsu, that damn lion body caught me by surprise"

Krysto got up and dusted himself off. Other than a minor bruise he had suffered no injuries. When he turned back to face the house, the outline of where his body was pushed into was clearly visible.

"Can your sharginan notice any more animals? "

The trio hadn't even made it inside the house yet, and had already battled against creations of a mad man. The poor animals all wore a look of crazy after having been experimented on against their will.

After a few seconds as well as glances, he said, "Nothing that seems to be able to harm us." Kotetsu could only notice a few animals inside the house, which resembled some fish I'm a tank as well as a small bird in a cage. "We should get the scientist and get out. Because all we know, there could be something else lurking around." He then sheathed his swords and proceeded to open the door. The house was mostly empty on the inside, aside from a few furniture items like chairs and tables. Looking the room over a fee times, Kotetsu determined the chakara was coming from a trap door under a rug in the middle of the room. "He must be hiding in there" his hand now pointing to the location of the trap door.

Krysto enters the house folloing Kotetsu. He walks around the living room and notices nothing out of the ordinary. He listens as Kotetsu informs him of the trap door under the rug.

"Lets sweep this floor first, make sure we don't miss any important info that might be hiding up here."

He'd remembered that the mission said to bring back any important documents/information. He signaled to Kotetsu for him to take the right side of the pretty decently sized house. He himself began investigating the left side. He walked around carefully, not wanting to cause any unnecessary noises. He opened the first door to his right, which was a simple closet without anything interesting in it.

"Have to check all these doors.. can't miss anything"

He whispered to himself as he continued searching.

"Understood" was all Kotetsu said in response as he looked around the right side of the room. Now if I was mad scientist, where would I hide important information. he pulled out cabinets and dumped them onto the desk, to where he rummaged through the pile of papers and with no success he found nothing. "Don't forget he is supposed to be exceptionally smart, so be careful in what you do" with a momentary pause in his sentence he continued as he slowly opened another drawer. "Once we are finished here, and go through that trap door, then we will be at the disadvantage. We do not know what lies down there. It could be a trap or the doctor could have traps set up."

As he finished going through the drawer, Kotetsu noticed something weird about the bottom of it. So he decided to removed the papers and junk out of the drawer, to where he called for Krysto. "Hey come here and look at this" was all he said as he removed a small wooden board from the bottom that unconvered a stack of files. Kotetsu then decided to pull them out and look through them. "So, these look like the information on his recent experiments." He shuffled through a couple of the files, "Here is the lion, the bear, and alligator. Yet there is another one, it doesn't contain a picture or description though." Kotetsu briefly hesitated as he read the file even more, "It does have a name here, 百獣の王 Hyakujū no ō, which translates to the King of Beasts"

Krysto abandoned his side, leaving one room unexplored. He made his way towards Kotetsu who had a folder with notes inside. He raised an eyebrow at the mention of the name.

"So we met the first three creations.. but what the hell is a King of Beasts?"

He burrowed his eyebrow as he looked at Kotetsu. He stood besides him wondering, had the scientist actually created a monster that could conquer all beasts? or was he in the middle of creating it. He ran his hand through his while hair, rubbing the back of his neck. The question had instilled doubt in him. Was the beast a living thing? or just a thought. What if it was down there with the scientist, just waiting for them to head down.

"I am not sure" he replied, "Maybe another creation that the doctor thinks to be the rightful ruler over beasts." Right then he heard a noise coming from the room that Krysto didn't check. "What was that" Kotetsu whispered to his comrade as he approached the door from which the noise came. As he attempted to pull the door open, something didn't feel right so he jumped back and away from the door. It felt as if a dark aura was on the other side, one that he didn't sense earlier. "Do you feel that?" He asked and as he did the wall broke open in which a beast appeared screeching.

The beast broke through the wall as if it was made out of paper. Its massive body sent debris all over the living room. It roared loudly before snarling, showing its sharp teeth. It slammed its giant fists into the ground and roared again.

"WHAT THE HELL? WHAT THE HELL IS THAT THING?!"

Krysto was about to take a step back, but the beast turned its head and faced him, with a loud roar it raised its hand and punched krysto. The genin was sent across the room. The genin's body crashed against the desk, flipped over and crashed hard against the wall.

The King of Beasts snarled as it turned to face Kotetsu.

Kotetsu was speechless at the large size and sheer power of the beast, but once seeing it hit his team mate, he became infuriated as well as concerned. "I don't know what exactly you are, but" his eyes now glowed fierce and strong, "you will regret ever existing." Upon finishing his sentence, he bolted straight for the monster while reaching into his ninja pouch.

As Kotetsu came into range, the beast gave a hefty strait punch with his right hand. Which Kotetsu seen the attack and jumped up above it on the things arm. Once there he pulled his hand from the pouch to where he had a paper bomb. Which then Kotetsu slapped it on the beasts right arm and using the left, the beast smacked kotetsu from his arm and over to where Krysto was flung.

Krysto manage to stand back up, he caught a glimpse of the beast who raised its arms up in the air, it was about to slam them on the ground but was cut short by the explosive tag in its right forearm placed by Kotetsu.

BOOM!

The ceiling of the house began collapsing after the explosion. Krysto lost sight of the beast as a cloud of smoke filled the room.

GGRAWWWLLL!

The beast was alive! In a flash it emerged from the smoke and attempted to punch the young kaguya yet again. Krysto had just enough time to sway right and dodge. His eyes widened as the giant arm of the beast crashed into the wall, punching a hole in it. He saw the damage the explosive tag had caused, the beast was bleeding yet it seemed unaffected by it.

"He's fast, and powerful. Be careful Kotetsu"

Krysto kicked the Beast in the stomach a few times, after the 4th it grunted and sneaked its left hand under its right to grab Krysto's legs. He dragged him under and tossed him back across to the other side of the room. The beast tossed him with so much force, that the genin broke through the wall and into the other room.
