[Pirate Warfare] The Sakura

Daisuke arrived with his back stuffed full. He was ready to start his voyage to Kiri and he couldn't wait to see the rolling waves of the sea. As soon as he arrived he walked off the dock and sunk his feet into the water on the warf. He was excited to travel to Kiri, only his second time being out of country. Arakui and Krysto would soon arrive to join him. It would be the first time Team One had been together since before the attack.

Arakui shows up in swim trunks and a button up shirt. When he sees that it is a ship his smile fades. He didn't pay attention to the briefing and forgot to pack more than just a day at the beach supplies.

"Ohai Daisuke. I thought we were just swimming?"

Krysto arrived just a few minutes after Arakui and Daisuke. He carried a black duffle bag on his back.He walked up to the dock and hung around daisuke and arakui.

"haha those are some sweet trunks arakui"

said the young kaguya.

Daisuke shook his head at Arakui in disbelief. "Don't worry, I brought enough clothing for the whole team... Oi, hey Krysto." The three chatted for a minute briefly before the captain called everyone on board. "Well guys, let's find a good view and a comfy spot on the deck!"

Krysto nodded and followed behind both his teammates. They made their way onto the ship. Krysto dropped his bag inside the cabin, then joined the rest outside on the deck. He took a deep breath, soaking in the scent of the ocean.

"This will be a nice experience for once. Hopefully there's no mutated animals."

Daisuke watched as the anchor was released and The Sakura started on her way. The Sakura had beautiful pink flowers decorating its starboard. Daisuke and Krysto found a nice place at the helm with a perfect view of everything ahead. After a few hours the horizon in every direction was just blue.

"I didn't expect Arakui to get seasick so soon."

He chuckled as he looked out onto the Horizon. It was hard to tell where the ocean ended, and where the sky began. All around was nothing but a beautiful blue. The wind wasn't too strong and made it feel just the right temperature.

"It's nice to get a chance to relax. After my last mission.. i needed this."

Daisuke nodded and laid down on his luggage. The sky was a beautiful blue with wind whipping here and there. Clouds hung above him shaped like great Galleons. He started to snooze until he heard the call. "Pirates! Pirates!" Daisuke shot up and looked starboard. Sure enough there were three smaller ships with black sails headed straight for The Sakura.

Krysto let out a sigh and rubbed the back of his neck.

"All civilians! Please return to the cabin/inside! This is not a drill. Please return inside and remain calm. My teammate and I are very well versed in combat. We'll keep you safe."

Krysto withdrew a kunai and guarded the entrance to the cabin. His eyes were focused on the incoming ships. He hadn't been in battle in a few weeks, after his battle with the King of Beasts the medical ninja forbade him to do any sort of training for a whole week.

Daisuke's head sank. He really just wanted to relax on the ship and daydream about The Masters. Instead he now had a duty to protect The Sakura from the incoming Pirate ships. "Oi. Really?" Daisuke stood on the bow of the helm and looked on as the pirate ships enclosed on The Sakura. The ships didn't appear to have canon's prepped for fire, which meant that they were going to invade by latching on to the Galleon. "Great, they are plunderers.." Daisuke leapt back as the first ship collided with The Sakura, luckily the Galleon was unscathed, but pirates begun to storm the deck with swords.

The crash was more sound than anything. The two solid ships collided but both seem unscathed. Krysto had used his chakra to hold himself in place. He saw as a few dozen pirates jumped onto the deck of the Sakura. A few of them engaged Daisuke in battle, while the others made their way to Krysto.

"Get away from the door matey, you wouldn't wanna get hooked"

Said a fat pirate. It seemed that plundering had actually gained him more than just gold. He was shirtless as he raised his hand to reveal the hook prosthetic. 4 others walked behind him with swords in hand.

"Heh. I suggest you return to your ships, you wouldn't want to get boned."

Krysto let out a grin as he activated Dance of the Larch. Bone blades sprouted from all over his body, the demon bone horns from his forehead, and two long bone blades from his forearms.

The pirates stood in awe as the young kid before then converted into what they deemed a monster. Krysto wasted no time, he charged towards the attacking group and sliced the forearm off the hook hand pirate. He ducked under two swords aimed for his head and performed a leg sweep knocking 2 others onto the ground. He parried a sword attack with his right blade then spun around and kicked that pirate in the head knocking him over the railing.

"you guys aren't doing a very good job at pirating.. have you considered not sucking?"

he said as the pirates rolled on the ground in pain.

Pirates started storming The Sakura from all sides. As some came over water would rise behind them, rocketing into the deck sending splinters everywhere. Daisuke dodged a whip of water as it slammed where he stood. The wielder was an ugly looking man without any teeth. He had a tattoo of Kirigakure's symbol on his belly, but it was scratched out and then tattoo'd under it, 'shit happens'. Daisuke darted forward and laid an elbow into his stomach, sending him backwards bent-over. Another pirate came up in an attempt to grab Daisuke but he flipped over the attacker, landing a high kick to his head.

Two new figures appeared on the Sakura. On the left side stood a teen, older than krysto probably in his early 20s. He was 5'10, wore a loose fitting hooded robe that reached down to his ankles. On the right stood a girl, she was at least 23 with long blond hair, and a shirt that displayed a major part of her cleavage.

"Hand over all the valuables lad, don't make this harder than it has to."

The robed figure unseathed a pair of maces from both hands. The maces were quite hard, and a hit from them would surely injure the victim.

"I would listen to the lass, unless you want to get hammered."

Krysto's dance of the larch was still active, the bones still covered the majority of his body. He was ready to defend the ship and its people at all costs.

"You will not harm any innocent, i will protect them."

Krysto rushed forward, the blonde girl quickly wove a dozen hand seals and a giant gust of wind slammed Krysto onto the side of the center mast. She moved her fist backwards and the rushed it forward. Krysto was slammed yet again onto the mast.

"Hahaha cant handle a little breeze?"

Mocked the blonde. Both bandits laughed as krysto slowly stood back up. He reached into his pouch and withdrew 3 shuriken from it. He launched them fast, aimed at the blonde gril who controlled the wind to blow the attack away. Krysto rushed in after she put her hand down and the robed figure stood in front of her protecting her.

~hmm.. It seems like she's not efficient in anything other than ninjutsu.. I'll have to take care of the first guy and watch my back~

He rushed forward with a bone blade, the robed figure parried it with his hammers, then pulled his right hand back and attempted to smash it into krysto's shoulder. Krysto dropped down to the ground to avoid the hit, but was met by a swift kick to the stomach which sent him crashing into the deck railing.

The attacker fell backwards. Daisuke continued to weed through the pirates, fighting their advances off in every direction. Daisuke realized the majority of the pirates were still on their ships, and they continued to advance as others fell. He realized that in order to save the ship, they were going to have to push the other ships away from The Sakura, or destroy them... the second part sounded like the most fun. "Krysto! Krysto, we need to sink the other ships. There are three of them. You take one, i'll take another, and then the two of us will converge on the final one together!"

-Epic battle between Daiuske and the plundering pirates-

Krysto stood back up after the kick. He retracted the bones back into his body. The male was standing between Krysto and the blonde.

"Fire Release: Giant Fireball!"

Krysto waved the hand seals and built up the chakra in his lungs. He fired off 3 medium sized fireballs one after the other with a 2 second interval. He quickly withdrew two kunai's and wrapped an explosive tag around each. The male deflected the first one, and ducked under the second one which forced the blonde to use her wind gust to veer the fireball off its path. The male blocked the third one, but took some damage to his arms from the explosion. The two kunais flew past him and caught the blonde by surprise. She was sandwiched between the explosions and suffered a fiery death.

"Nooo! Starla!!"

The male was distracted by the death of his partner and was surprised when he recieved a kunai to the throat. He fell to his knees and spent the last few seconds of his life gurgling his own blood.

-Daisuke informs Krysto of the plan-

"Will do!"

Krysto jumped off into the water, using his chakra to walk on it.

~with all this water.. my water gunshot will be devastating!~

Water Release: Water Gunshot!"

Krysto built up a great amount of chakra in his mouth. He fired off a single gigantic gunshot aimed directly fo the hull of the attacking ship on the right side. The water gunshot was a direct hit and tore a massive hole on the hull. water started filling the inside of the hull.

"Fire Release: Giant Fireball!"

Krysto fired of a single Giant Fireball aimed at the spot he had just attacked. The fireball hit, blowing off more pieces of the wood and setting the ship on fire from the inside. The ship was taking tons of water in, and was visibly sinking. The fire began burning everything on the ship as well. Slowly, the ship sank, but not before everything and everyone inside were burned alive.
